The company is located at Tungtay (Chengdu) technology industrial park, in which national economic-tech development zone of Chengdu, Sichuan province, the industrial park occupies a land of 12 hectare, and has 50,000 m²construction space.., with 175 staffs and 20,000 square building area. Tungtay (Chengdu) Vacuum Coating Engineering Co., Ltd. and Tungtay (Kunshan) Vacuum Coating Engineering Co., Ltd. are new and high technology enterprises specializing in R&D and manufacturing vacuum coating products and related equipment, they are an important vacuum coating project division in Tungtay Group.

In 1993, Tungtay (Chengdu) Vacuum Coating Engineering Co., Ltd. was set up in Economy-tech Development Zone in Chengdu, the center city in the west of China, with registered capital of 2.7 million US Dollars and area occupation of 30000m². Under the combination of R&D in the fields of vacuum coating products and equipment as well as manufacturing technique, continuous magnetron sputtering coating line was successfully developed in 1994, products started to enter market. In 1995, the first optical coater was provided to customer. In June of the 1996, the first architechtural heat reflective glass coating line was developed and put into the market with the max. substrate size 2540× 3660mm, filling a gap in China and Southeastern Asia. In 1999, Tungtay began to step into the international market, we supplied coating equipment to Southeastern Asian Countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam. Our products have been widely used ion the fields of architecture and photoelectric market, which include products for IT industry and optical use, for instance: projection television, indicator and scanner, etc.
